Sean produced two versions of this online commercial, one for the South African Market and the other for the Saudi Arabian consumer. Sean also produced all the photographic images for the campaign. Junior Masterchef - Pavillion Shopping Center
"Junior Master Chef - Pavilion Shopping Center", was designed to attract shoppers to the Pavilion Shopping Center and to build brand awareness. The concept was developed by Terence Pillay. Contestants were asked to enter the competition via an online campaign and in stores. 16 were chosen and competed in a series of "cook offs" held at the center. Each heat was filmed and aired on a dedicated YouTube channel. Local celebrities acted a judges.
PLMC are skilled short format producers, and we produce content for a number of companies and brands. This particular series was produced for the History Channel. The aim was to push the episodes out on social media in order to draw viewers to a dedicated pop up History channel on DsTV, commemorating a key South African historical event.
Food For Living, Soup
"Food for Living" was a food focused series created for Pick n Pay to promote their diabetic range. Each of the ten minute episodes offered health advice and a diabetic friendly alternative to some of our most sugary of meals. Well known local chefs were asked to share their recipes with our audience. The series aired on Glow Tv, Dstv.
JOB MASEKO WW2
This is one of a short online series for History Channel commemorating 150 years of war. The clip looks at the remarkable and courageous actions of Job Maseko, a South African WW2 soldier that took on the Axis forces in the North African Theater of War. Julie Laurenz is currently developing a feature film with award winning director, Sara Blecher, based on his life.
